Who was Ingrid?

Let me tell you about a woman named Ingrid. She was the sister of Helene Åqvist's grandmother and left Överkalix when she was 20 years old to start a new life in Stockholm.

Ingrid met a man during the war, but tragically, he perished in the war. Ingrid never married and lived life on her own terms. However, she never suffered from loneliness, and many who knew her remember her as a strong and independent woman.

Ingrid played a significant role in Helene's life. The two formed a close and special bond when Helene was just 25 years old, and they remained in touch until Ingrid's death in 2004.

We remember Ingrid as that lady who always walked around Östermalm in her beautiful dresses. She was someone who truly stood out in a crowd and always carried herself with a certain elegance and confidence. Ingrid was a unique personality who will always have a place in our hearts.
